Comments & Clarifications
[1] Thus, a foreigner who had been married to a Polish citizen for at least three years could acquire Polish citizenship if he or she had one of the following permit types: a permit to settle in the territory of the Republic of Poland, a permit as a long-term resident of the European Community, or a permanent residence permit for the Republic of Poland.
