Long-term care

This section presents a collection of laws related to assistance for people who have lost some or all of their capacity to manage their daily activities for a prolonged period of time. It is important to note that this section focuses on reforms of long-term care services for the elderly (i.e., people aged 65+), and not on general long-term care regulations which also affect younger people with chronic diseases.

Please note that legal documents refer primarily to more far-reaching reforms. Information on minor policy modifications, e.g. changes to benefits, may not be found in this collection (compiled in PERFAR until 2016).
