Migration
This section presents a collection (compiled in PERFAR until 2016) of norms affecting state programs which grant regular legal status to persons who reside in a country other than their own but do not or no longer fulfill the respective conditions of entry, stay or residence. Depending on the country, those procedures may take the form of legalization or amnesty campaigns to regulate illegal labor migration flows or to pursue humanitarian purposes.
The data for this section were generously provided by the Collaborative SSH-FP7 Temporary versus Permanent Migration Project – TEMPER (http://www.temperproject.eu) in 2014.
Please note that legal documents refer primarily to more far-reaching reforms. Information on minor policy modifications may not be found in this collection.
