Law on the Service Pension of National Security Institutions Officials

National security institution officials.
Criteria for coverage
The right to a service pension is granted to persons who:
1) have reached the age of 50 and have a length of service of not less than 20 years, and for the last five of which served as a national security institution official;
2) regardless of age are exempt from service due to health condition according to the State Medical Commission’s Assessment of Health Condition and Working Ability, Central Medical Expert examination, Commission of the Ministry of Interior conclusion, or a reduction of officials, and who have a length of service of not less than 20 years;
3) have reached the age of 50 and have a total length of insurance coverage and its equivalent length of service of not less than 25 years, and served as a national security institution official for not less than 12 years and six months of these.

Comments & Clarifications
Previous regulations did not include the possibility to receive a service pension for all national security institution officials. As officials were interested in the social insurances provided, among others, by service pensions, it was difficult to ensure rotation among officials.
